    How should the injectors be removed and replaced in the 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata? Posted by Customer

    Remove the clip securing each injector to the fuel rail and pull out each injector, discarding the old injector O-rings. Lightly oil and install the new injector O-rings, lubricate each upper O-ring with clean engine oil, then install the injectors into the fuel rail and secure them with the injector clips. Lubricate each lower O-ring with clean engine oil, then install the fuel rail and injectors, taking care not to damage the lower O-rings during installation, and tighten the fuel rail bolts securely.
