    How do you check the voltage at the EGR valve on 1992 Mazda Protege? Posted by Customer
    A:
    Reconnect the EGR valve position sensor connector, detach the vacuum hose from the EGR valve, and install a vacuum pump at the valve. Turn the ignition switch on and measure the voltage at terminal B of the connector, which should read approximately 0.8 volts with no vacuum applied and approximately 5.0 volts with 5.0 in-Hg applied.
