  • Q: How to remove and install an A/C Compressor on 1990 Mazda 323?
    A: Have a qualified shop discharge and recover refrigerant, then disconnect the negative cable. Remove undercover and splash shield and drivebelt. Disconnect lines and connector, unbolt A/C Compressor. If new, follow oil instructions; reinstall, replace and lube O-rings, tighten bolts, avoid oil on fittings. Have shop evacuate, recharge and leak-test system.
