How to drain and clean the Coolant Reservoir on 2006 Mazda 6?

Drain the cooling system. On some models remove the fasteners securing the coolant reservoir to the fender; on others remove the fasteners securing it to the fan shroud. Lift the reservoir to disconnect the hoses. Clean the reservoir with soapy water and a brush, inspect for cracks and replace if cracked. Reinstall in reverse.
