To 2007 and older models, discontinue the battery, delete the rear transaxle mount and disconnect the power steering lines. Unscrew the rack and pinions and reverse the installation. On 2008-2012 models, disconnect the battery, take off the front wheels and unbolt the rack and pinions. Removing the subframe and rack and pinions bolts and reattaching them later, take place in 2013 and onwards.
