How to remove and install the instrument cluster on 2010 Mazda 3?

Unhook the cable on the negative battery. Slide the steering wheel down and take out the instrument cluster trim panel. Unscrew the mounting screws of the instrument cluster, remove the instrument cluster, and loosen the electrical contacts. Place the cluster on its gauge side. The opposite of removal is installation.
