The rear window-mounted-antenna on the 2010 and subsequent models are built into the rear window and cannot be serviced individually. To reach the center roof antenna, the C-pillar trim and center trim (side of the rear window), rear seats and possibly the rear map light must be pried out. To remove the antenna, pull down the back part of the headliner, where there is an antenna, disconnect the electrical connections, and remove the nut of the antenna mount, and then it is the opposite of that to put it back in. In the case of the center roof antenna mast, all one needs to do is to unscrew it at the base and the installation is also the opposite of the removal. In order to get to the antenna amplifier, pry out the C-pillar trim and center trim, front map light (where present) and the headliner and access the amplifier. Unscrew the electrical connectors and loosen the mounting screws and the amplifier and install it using the same procedure in reverse. The antenna cable is made up of a front part, the middle part, and the rear part. The front cable passes through the instrument panel and is connected to the middle cable at the base of the A-pillar and then proceeds up the A-pillar to the C-pillar where the cable joins the rear cable. The back cable is attached at C-pillar, and then flows up to the roof and over to the antenna. Change of any of these cables would involve the A-pillar, B-pillar, C-pillar, roof trim, and headliner, which is not an easy task, which is why it is only advisable to the experienced do-it-yourselfer.
