The turn signal/hazard flasher is a small square shape gadget that is found under the driver side kick panel. A functioning Cisco switch can be audibly clicked in operation. When the turn signals fail on one side and the flasher unit does not produce the characteristic clicking noise then there is an indication of a faulty turn signal bulb. In case both turn signals do not blink, the problem can be the result of a blown fuse, malfunctioning flasser unit, broken switch, or loose or open connection. An inspection of the fuse box will show a blown turn signal fuse and one should check the wiring to ensure there is no short until installing another fuse. The replacement of the flasher involves removing the kick panel, unscrewing and detaching the flasher and unplugging the connector. It should be inserted in the reverse order the old unit must be matched with the new one before installation: the old unit must be compared to the new one and then the new one should be installed.
