Unscrew the lug nuts of the wheels, raise the vehicle and place it well on jackstands and then remove the wheel. The second step is to take out the brake caliper, bracket and disc. Next remove the bearing assembly and hub. In case the vehicle has installed ABS, disassemble the bolt and remove the ABS wheel speed sensor on the knuckle. Unscrew the tie rod of the knuckle, then remove the balljoints, and then take the steering knuckle out of the car. Installation is the opposite of removal, making sure that all steering and suspension fasteners have been tightened to the required torque. Prior to working the screwing of a fastener that integrates into a rubber bushing, elevate the outer end of the undercarriage arm to the typical ride height by means of a floor jack. Install new cotter pins on the balljoint nuts and install the wheel lug nuts to the required torque.
