In older models (2005 and below), the door trim panel, inside handle and watershields should first be removed. The second step is to remove the door glass and mark or measure the position of the manual or power window regulator assembly to re-install it in the same position. In the case of power window, loosen the electrical connector of power windows. Unscrew the regulator2 assembly of the window and remove it using the door frame access hole but you have to remember that the cranking part is held in place by three bolts. Delete the door glass run channel where necessary and in the installation, rub the regulator rollers with multi-purpose grease. The door trim panel, door unit and door window glass should be removed to start when using 2006 or later models. Next remove the regulator that has nuts attached to it, and then the regulator, beginning with the motor, and working the regulator mechanism through the access hole as you want it to go. The process is reverse removal then installation.
