How to remove and install the power steering pump and alternator on Mazda MX-6?

Unscrew the negative battery cable, and then elevate the front of the vehicle and place it firmly on jackstands before taking out the right front wheel and the splash shield. Next you have to loosen the power steering pump pulley bolt, the alternator, and the drivebelt. Then remove the pulley on the pump and disconnect and plug the power steering fluid lines. Eliminate the four bracket retaining bolts of the alternator/power steering pump and remove the pump and the bracket assembly of the engine. The opposite of the removal procedure is the installation. After installation, adjust the tension of the drivebelt, fill the pump reservoir with the particular fluid and bleed the system.
