    For models with manual air conditioning, remove the Passenger Junction Box, take out the heater/air conditioner control assembly cable mounting screws, disconnect the cable by depressing the tab on the airflow or air mix arm while sliding the coiled end of the cable off the arm, remove the retaining screws for the control assembly, release the retaining clips on each side of the control unit, carefully pull the control assembly forward, disconnect the electrical connectors, and remove the control unit and cables as an assembly from the instrument panel.
