    What are the steps for the 2001 Mazda Tribute 1.6L and 2.5L engines? Posted by Customer

    For 2013 and later 1.6L and 2.5L engines, follow these steps: 1. Raise the vehicle securely. 2. Remove the front bumper cover. 3. Unbolt the lower cooling module arm fasteners and lower radiator crossmember. 4. Remove the threaded plug at the bottom left of the condenser-mounted receiver/drier. 5. Push the drier plug upwards and use a small screwdriver to remove the retaining ring. 6. Install an M5 bolt in the center of the receiver drier plug to pull it out. 7. Use a 90-degree angle pick or needle nose pliers to extract the desiccant bag. 8. Insert a new element into the receiver-drier and install the plug securely. 9. Lubricate all air conditioning line fittings and O-rings with refrigerant oil during installation. 10. Finally, have the system evacuated, recharged, and leak tested by the shop that discharged it.
