Mazda Z502-12-205-9U Timing Belt

For SOHC models, remove the under cover splash shield, power steering and air conditioner drivebelt if applicable, alternator drivebelt, spark plugs, water pump pulley bolts, crankshaft pulley bolts, and crankshaft pulley. Then, remove the crankshaft sprocket center bolt, timing belt guide, and timing belt covers. Align the crankshaft and camshaft sprocket marks before loosening the timing belt tensioner and removing the timing belt. If necessary, remove the camshaft sprocket(s) to replace the seal(s) and prevent the camshaft from turning.
