How to remove and replace the air filter in the engine compartment on 1990 Mazda 323?

The air filter is mounted at the left front side of the engine compartment. In order to do away with it, disconnect the intake duct, remove the bolts connecting the cover, lift it, and remove the filter. examine the filter; when dirty change it. Wipe the housing, replace the new filter and the cover.
