How to properly replace a Rack and Pinion Boot on 1990 Mazda 323?

Relax the lug nuts, lift the car, and place it up on jackstands then take the wheel off. Unscrew the tie-rod end and jam nut and remove the rack and pinion boot clamps. Coil the threads in the steering rod with a tape, re-fit the new boot and fix the clamps. Lastly, refit the wheel and get the vehicle down.
