In order to remove the camshaft in a 1.5L engine, disconnect the battery, loosen brackets and label the spark plug wires. Lift the cylinder head cover, the belts, and timing components. Removal and installation of camshaft caps, looseness of the cap bolts, and replacement of the old parts and new ones in reverse sequence. Set valve clearance and check leakages.
