How to disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the Center Console on 2003 Mazda Protege?

Unclip the negative battery cable. To remove the rear console, loosen the screws and pull-out the rear console, to remove the front console, loosen the ashtray and shift knob, then loosen the screws of the front console. Do not forget to remove electrical connectors. Installation is in reverse sequence of removal.
