  A: Special tools and compressed air can be used to replace broken valve springs and faulty seals of the valve stems without having to remove the cylinder head. When there is no air, the valves may fall as a result of using nylon rope. Take off the camshaft(s), valve lifters, and proceed to replace the seals and reassemble.
