How to remove and install the EGR valve on 2006 Mazda 6?

For four-cylinder models the EGR valve is at left of cylinder head behind the throttle body. Disconnect the negative battery, drain cooling, remove hoses, air cleaner and electrical connector, unbolt the valve, discard the gasket and clean mating surfaces. For V6 models valve on the intake manifold is removed similarly.
