Raise and support the vehicle, drain oil, install plug, remove filter, remove splash shield and air housing. For automatics remove battery, support transaxle and engine, loosen mounts, separate bellhousing, remove oil pan, clean surfaces, apply sealant to flange, reinstall bolts, lower vehicle and let sealant cure before refilling oil.
