How to replace Coolant Temperature Sensors on 2006 Mazda Tribute?

Take the negative battery drain and empty the cooling system. Take out intake duct, battery parts (when used) and then unscrew the electrical connector and retaining clip of the ECT sensor. Install a new sensor and O-ring then re-install parts in reverse sequence, replace coolant, reconnect battery, and then idle and fuel trim relearn again.
