How to remove and clean the Coolant Reservoir on 2008 Mazda Tribute?

To drain the cooling system, disconnect the coolant reservoir hoses and clean out the reservoir, the year 2012 and earlier models. Wash and check for cracks. To drain the system, remove the hoses and the reservoir using later models of 2013 and onwards, and remove the reservoir by lifting it off the mounting tabs. The opposite of removal is reinstallation.
