How to replace the lower catalytic converter on 2010 Mazda 3?

The exhaust manifold which contains the warm up catalytic converter cannot be serviced alone. In its place, lift the car and hold it up. Eliminate the oxygen sensor(s) and the flange nuts and bolts. Take off the rubber mounts, take off the converter and throw away the old gasket.
