How to remove and install the steering column on 2010 Mazda 3?

In order to remove the steering column, one must park the vehicle with the wheels straight and disconnect the negative battery cable. Take out the steering wheel, mark the position of the U-joint and dispose the pinch bolt. Reduce the column and withdraw it. To install, insert the column into the slot and screw the fittings.
