How to disconnect and replace the ignition lock cylinder and ignition switch on 2011 Mazda 3?

Disconnect negative battery. Remove lower trim and column covers. Don't remove ignition switch and key cylinder. Rotate lever, unplug switch connector, depress tabs and remove switch. With key in ACC, press release and remove cylinder; reinstall. Illumination ring not required-disconnect connector, tabs, snap back.
