How to remove and install the cooling fan assembly on 2014 Mazda MX-5 Miata?

In the case of 2005 and the older models disconnect the negative battery cable, dislodge the air intake duct, and unbolt the fan assemblies. To disassemble the cooling fan shroud and fan motor, disconnect the battery and drain the coolant and remove a number of other parts in 2006 and subsequent models before performing the operation. Installation is the reverse of installation.
