In 2005 and earlier models, it is necessary to remove the door trim panel and watershield, unscrew the latch, unlink control links, and unscrew the watershield. Installation Reuninstall by reversing. To 2006 and beyond, trim panel, speaker, and disconnect electrical connectors. Same with handles and lock cylinders, make sure that all is in place when re-installing them.
