How does the Flywheel factor into the removal and reinstallation of a transmission on 2014 Mazda MX-5 Miata?

In order to eliminate the transmission, hoist the vehicle, remove the transmission. In the manual models, dismount the clutch parts and put marks in alignment to be used in re-assembly. Take out the flywheel/driveplate, clean and check it. Installation Developed by matching marks and tightening bolts in a criss-cross. And the rest do the same in reverse.
