How to replace the window motor and window regulator assembly on Mazda 3?

In order to change the power window motor, connect the cable to the negative battery first, remove door trim panel, and then unconnect the electrical connector to the regulator motor. Tape the window and continue removing the three regulator motor mounting screws and extract the motor. In the case of the regulator assembly, the door trim panel, the front door speaker, and the door glass should be removed. In case of the model being powered by the power window, take out the power window motor. Then dismount the regulator mounting nuts or bolts and put your hand through the speaker hole and with the thumb clockwise and inwards on the inside and loosen the tabs on the door module. To install, take out the window regulator using the speaker hole, and fit in the new regulator using the same hole, make sure the drum housing fits into the door module, and the cable does not unspool. Lastly, install the regulator with the mounting nuts or bolts, which should be tightened securely, and install the rest of the regulator in reverse order.
