How to remove and install an alternator on Mazda 626?

To install the alternator, loosen the battery negative cable first then loosen the adjustment bolt. Disconnect the three plugs in the terminal and unconnect the wire harness to the clip and then unfasten the drivebelt. Then remove the through bolt and nut, and the alternator can be removed off the engine. Installation: To install, place the alternator and put the through bolt and nut in, and then adjusting bolt. Install the drivebelt and adjust the tension and connect the alternator connectors and reconnect the battery negative cable.
