Lift the car and place it on jackstands safely after which, take the front wheels and splash shields off the front stabilizer bar. Then remove stabilizer bar-to-suspension arm bolts, then the bushing bolts and the bracket bolts and take off the rear stabilizer bar of the car. In the case of the front stabilizer bar, loosen the rack and pinion assembly with retaining bolts, get the assembly up, and ensure that you get the bar out through the left wheel well. Check the bushings to determine whether there is any hardening, cracking, or excessive wear and replace them as required. Install the stabilizer bar, with the bushing alignment mark positioned to the left of the car, and install the front stabilizer bar left side bushing with the edge of the bushing directed to the mark and the notch to the rear. Installation of the bushing bracket bolts is completed after which tightening to the recommended torque is done and the end bolts and nuts installed and tightened.
