In order to install the brake cable and to uninstall the cable, remove a screw on the adjusting cable on the parking brake lever and take off the covers or console on the brake lever, then the cable. Lift the vehicle and put it in a stable position and then proceed to the underside of the car to disconnect the tension spring on the front of the cable. Then remove cotter pins and other pins which connect the cable ends at the back to the half cable of the brakes, and then unscrew the cable. Installation:Install new cable(s) and connect the link pins together with new cotter pins and tighten the tension spring at the front of the cable. Install the equalizer with the adjustment of the nuts in such a way so that the equalizer is at a 90 degree angle with the front parking brake cable, the vehicle can be lowered and the cable adjust screw in the brake lever. Lastly, make the necessary adjustments on the brake lever stroke and replace the lever covers or console.
