The pickup and MPV mirrors can be taken off the door without taking down the door liner and other parts, except in the case of Navajo. They can be manual, manual remote or electric remote. In case of a broken mirror glass, there could be a dealer or glass shop where replacements could be offered whereas a cracked or damaged housing will need the replacement of the entire mirror. To take out the mirror, on manual types with a remote, find out whether the adjusting handle has a hidden screw or a threaded trim nut, and ensure it is removed as needed. Then remove the PC delta cover on a corner of the door window with a blunt plastic or wooden object so as not to dent the plastic. Hidden plugs or little components could be under the delta cover and in case there are any electrical connections, then disconnect it. Installation takes place in the opposite sequence of uninstallation. In Navajo models, the door panel has to be removed first to access the mounting nuts and power mirrors have their harness connector disconnected. Once the mounting screws or nuts are removed, take off the mirror and dispose or the previous gasket and make sure that the new gasket is in place and then tighten the screws when reassembling.
