Mazda EGR Tube

The Mazda EGR Tube recirculates a precise flow of exhaust back into the engine, lowering combustion temperatures and cutting nitrogen oxides, which protects the environment and keeps performance sharp. Mazda has built its reputation on lively handling, efficient Skyactiv powertrains, and the striking Kodo design that gives every car a sense of motion even when parked. Drivers appreciate how Mazda pairs that sporty feeling with helpful i-Activsense aids like lane keeping and radar cruise, while the available i-Activ AWD tests itself on rough roads so owners can chase adventure with confidence. Electric drive and mild hybrid options show Mazda is always searching for cleaner power without sacrificing fun, and decades of rotary innovation prove the company loves bold ideas. Complementing those larger technologies, the EGR Tube works quietly yet constantly across the lineup. A robust steel or cooled variant forms a sealed highway for spent gases from the exhaust manifold to the intake, making sure recirculated flow stays steady, avoids leaks, and reaches the cylinders at the right temperature. Because the EGR Tube keeps oxygen and exhaust in balance, engines hold their spirited response while meeting strict emission rules. If carbon ever starts to collect, early attention lets the system breathe freely again so every Mazda continues to feel eager on city streets and open highways alike.

You'll get great performance and real durability when you pick genuine OEM EGR Tube. Mazda builds these using high-quality materials and official factory methods to ensure they hold up mile after mile. You deserve that Mazda reliability without the headache of cheap knockoffs. It is easy to find exactly what you need in our huge inventory of genuine parts. Plus, every OEM part carries a real manufacturer's warranty for your peace of mind. You will love our low prices too. Order today and we will ship your brand-new parts fast. They often reach your door in just a few days.

Mazda EGR Tube Parts and Q&A

  • Q:
How to replace the EGR valve and EGR Tube on Mazda Tribute?
    A:
To remove the EGR valve and pipe on the 2.0L four-cylinder models, raise the vehicle and secure it on jackstands, then remove the right lower splash shield. Loosen the tube nut fitting of the EGR pipe on the exhaust manifold and pull it off. If it is stuck, use some penetrant. In the engine bay, first take off the air intake duct, then unscrew the large nut at the upper end of the EGR pipe to disconnect it from the EGR valve. The old EGR Pipe should be replaced and check the threads inside the EGR valve for damage. In the first step, the bolts of EGR pipe bracket must be removed and the connection of differential pressure feedback EGR sensor must be carefully removed. The EGR pipe must be discarded. Unplug the vacuum line from the EGR valve and remove the two mounting bolts. Pull off the EGR valve and discard the old gasket. Remove any carbon deposit and clean the mounting surfaces. No loose particles must remain. The EGR valve mounting bolts are to be tightened and a new EGR pipe is to be used. This is the reverse of the removal. For 2.3L models, drain engine coolant, remove upper radiator hose and hose from EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve, remove two bolts and valve, discard old gasket and clean the surface. For 2.5L variants, remove the duct from the air filter housing, disconnect the wiring harness and coolant hose from the EGR valve, then remove the two bolts and valve and discard the gasket. Drain the cooling system. For V6 models from 2008 and earlier, disconnect the vacuum line and EGR pipe from the EGR valve. Remove the bolts joining EGR valve to intake manifold and remove and discard the old gasket. Clean the surfaces that were previously bolted together and ensure that no other particles remained. After that, you can reverse the process of removal. For the installation or removal of the V6 models made from 2009 to 2012, first remove and discard the gasket. Disconnect the electrical harness and the EGR tube as well. Remove the two bolts holding on the EGR. After that, you will reverse the process for installation. The intake air tube has to be removed in step 2 but first it is necessary to drain the cooling system and disconnect the EGR connector or cooler hose. Remove the two bolts on EGR valve remove it and discard the gasket. Repeat removal above for 2013 and later 2.5L models. Coolant needs refilling after fitment. The differential pressure feedback EGR system sensor requires the battery cable, electrical connector and hoses to be disconnected. Visually check the sensor for evidence of damage before reversing the removal steps for installation. When the battery is reconnected, the Powertrain Control Module must relearn idle and fuel trim strategy. To extract the EGR vacuum regulator valve, ensure battery cable disconnection and locate the valve. Disconnect electrical connector and vacuum hoses and remove mounting nuts/bolts. Installation is the reversal of removal. Furthermore, ensure tight fastener fit. After reconnecting the battery, the Powertrain Control Module must relearn idle as well as fuel trim strategy.
