To remove and install components on the 323/Protege, MX-3, and 1990-92 MX6, 626, first raise and safely support the vehicle, then remove the wheels. For all models except the MX-3, measure the length of the threads above the locknut before disconnecting the stabilizer bar link, then remove the nuts and through bolt to disconnect the stabilizer bar. Next, remove the necessary nuts and bolts to take out the control arms. For installation, reverse the removal steps, ensuring proper adjustment of the stabilizer bar before tightening the locknuts and checking rear wheel alignment. For the Millenia and 1993-98 626/MX-6/Probe, begin by raising and safely supporting the vehicle, then remove the wheel and tire assemblies. Take off the access cap from the underside of the rear crossmember, followed by removing the bolts and nuts to detach the lateral links and trailing link. If the rear lateral link is being removed, mark the cam plate and crossmember for alignment during reassembly. Installation follows the reverse of the removal process, and ensure that bolts are not fully tightened until the vehicle is on the ground at normal ride height.
