In the case of the 2005 and earlier model, it is best to take out the front bumper and next a front wheel lug nut, place it on jackstands securely and take away the front wheel. The second step is to unscrew the splash shield fasteners and unscrew the splash shield, then unscrew the bolts on the top of the fender and unscrew the nut at the back of the fender to get it detached off the vehicle. In 2006 and subsequent models, start by taking out the splash shields and the front wheel. Then take the front bumper off, and then loosen the bolts in the upper part of the fender and the one in the upper rear part of the fender and then remove the fender. Removal is the opposite of installation.
