Disarm the negative battery cable and turn off the airbag of the driver. Take off the
Steering Column upper and lower covers and also the under cover, unbolt the steering column, lower it, as necessary, to reach the locks cylinder bolts. Two break-off bolts are used to fix the steering lock assembly. In order to take them out, make a screwdriver opening on the top of each bolt with a hammer and chisel and unscrew the bolts or push the bolts in a counterclockwise motion with the hammer and chisel. When the bolts are taken off, position the steering lock assembly down the steering column. Install new steering lock assembly and tighten it with two new break off bolts until their heads snap off. The rest of the installation is a reverse process of removal.
