How should the wiper blade be inspected and maintained on Mazda Protege?

Windshield wiper and blade assembly should be checked on a regular basis as to cut off, loose parts, broken and worn out blade parts. Wiper blades may develop road film on them and thus, they need to be washed frequently using a mild detergent solution. When the wiping blades are observed, it is possible that the action of the wiping mechanism can loosen bolts, nuts, and fasteners, which will have to be checked and tightened if they are noticed. In case wiper blade elements are broken, torn, distorted, or no longer clean, they should be also replaced with new ones. When it is necessary to take the wiper blade assembly off the arm, push the release lever then slide the assembly down and out of the hook at the end of the arm. By removing the blade insert element, a pull-up method is used to remove the blade insert element out of the right end of the wiper frame. Scrap the new element end with the small protrusions inserted into the right side of the wiper frame, slide it to the complete position, and scrap the protrusions to the end of the frame to ensure it is seated.
