Lift the glass to the fullest extent and pop off the trim panel followed by peeling off the plastic water shield covering the door at the top left side with caution in order to reveal the access hole to the Door Lock Cylinder. When placing the Door Lock Cylinder, stuff rags into the door cavity that is located at the bottom of the door to avoid dropping the parts or tools to the bottom. Unscrew the push rod at the Door Lock Cylinder end that is secured by a plastic clip that can be prised off the rod. With pliers, it is necessary to delicately remove the locking clip on the back of the Door Lock Cylinder and not to break the outside sheet metal. Push the Door Lock Cylinder to its outer-door. To install, force the Door Lock Cylinder as deeply as it can be inserted into the hole on the outside keeping it properly aligned to the door and then inserting the locking clip into the interior of the Door Lock Cylinder so that it is well engaged. Insert the connecting rod into the swing arm and hold using the plastic clip. Take out the rags that are there in the door and put the water shield back in place. Install the trim panel after making sure that the door is closed and functioning correctly.
