What are the functions and testing procedures for the Idle Control Valve on 1992 Mazda B2200?
A:
The Idle Air Control (IAC) valve also controls the engine idle speed and it is situated on the throttle body. To test this out, disconnect the wiring harness, measure resistance; should be out of specification change IAC valve. To remove it, unconnect the battery, unhook the harness, and wipe the surface and then put on a new valve.
