Headlight Installation and Repair Tips for 1993 Mazda RX-7

  • Q:
What should you do if the headlight retractor does not operate automatically after pressing the switch on the dashboard on 1993 Mazda RX-7?
    A:
In case the retractor is not automatic, the headlights may be controlled manually by use of a switch within the engine compartment. Unconnect the negative battery cable, unscrew the quick-connect electrical couplers, and turn the manual control knob on the retractor shaft. Reconnect battery cable and test the Headlights. Until the problem is fixed, leave the couplers disconnected.
