    In order to disassemble the pump, de-connect the negative battery terminal, and pump drivebelt. Removing the pulley is necessary in case of a new pump installation and should come before the mounting bolts. Take the reservoir fluid away, disconnect the pressure line, the return line, and unplug the electrical connector. Take out the pump and put the new one in the reverse order.
