    Disable SRS before working near impact sensors or air bag components. Raise/support vehicle, disconnect negative battery and remove front wheels. Remove tie rod cotter pins/nuts, press out tie rods, remove set plate and rack and pinion. Reinstall in reverse, fit cotter pins and wheels, lower vehicle, reconnect battery, and check alignment.
