    To take out the Axle Shaft, begin by removing the wheel cover, loosening the Axle Shaft/hub nut and then removing the wheel. Disassemble the brake caliper, strip out the Axle Shaft/hub nut and swing the knuckle/hub assembly out. Unscrew the CV joints and hold them when taking off. To install, lubricate seals, guide the intermediate shaft and tighten fasteners. Put the pieces together in the opposite sequence.
