How to remove and install brake light switches on 1985 Mazda GLC?

To disassemble the switch, disconnect the electrical connector, and loosen the locknut and adjusting nut and then remove it out of the mounting bracket above the brake pedal. To install, screw the switch in the bracket, position it to be touching the pedal, screw the locknut tight, and reconnect the wiring.
