Raise and support the truck rear on jackstands and support the axle with a floor jack. Disconnect shocks, remove U-bolts, plate, front spring bolt and rear shackle nuts, lift out the spring. For Navajo, raise so rear axle hangs free; install new spring, reattach shackle, snug U-bolts, lower and torque.
