How to remove and install a distributor on 1990 Mazda MX-6?

In order to eliminate the distributor, disconnect battery negative cable and coil wire. Take out the retaining screws and cap and turn the engine until the rotor is standing upright. Mark position of the distributor, loosen hoses and remove it. To install, lubricate the O-ring, match marks and reattach hoses. When the crankshaft was rotated, examine compression before aligning timing mark.
