How to remove and install brake light switches on 1998 Mazda Millenia?

In order to install and remove the brake light switch, loosen the negative battery cable, and the connector of the stop lamp switch. Take out the locknut and switch and fit in the new switch and fix the new switch. Turn the switch such that the plunger touches the pedal, and the stop lights turn on when required. Check the functioning and fine-tune.
