To remove and install the exhaust manifold, disconnect battery, remove the air cleaner and hose, and remove the water bypass bolt. Remove heat shield, disconnect the oxygen sensor, raise the vehicle, suspend and disconnect the exhaust, remove EGR pipe and manifold, clean mating surfaces, fit a new gasket and reinstall.
